Dudley Do-Right : The Canadien

I know, there's no excuse. I've been busy, I haven't been posting. I am going to try to keep up the blog, I promise. I have however, in recent days been pretty active on Twitter, and if you enjoy reading me here, I encourage you to follow my Twitter account: @hermy11

TSN is reporting that Maple Leafs' director of player personnel Rick Dudley is about to be named the assistant General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens. This shouldn't come as a surprise.

Rick Dudley is supremely qualified, he has previously served as an NHL GM, he has a history with new GM Marc Bergevin, and Tony Marinaro has been speculating this for weeks. More so since Bergevin's hiring and his recent on-air interview with Rick Dudley.

Jonathan Willis of the Edmonton Journal wrote an excellent profiling Rick Dudley on March 8th. The piece profiles many of Dudley's qualifications, some of his drawbacks, and a personal evaluation. It's well worth a read. Take the time.
